This is a booklet I designed for my Letterforms and Typography class! Using InDesign, we had to design a booklet pertaining to a single word. In this case, the word was matter.
More specifically, the book dissects the usage of the word "matter" in various poems. Combined with relevant images, this multimodal poem book takes themes of love, loss, and identity and blends them into a seamless narrative
This is one of the three projects that I made in my Letterforms and Typography Class, and definitely the most rewarding. We worked under little constraints-- to design a booklet using a word, some body of text, images, and a limited range of color. This project bettered my understanding of visual hierarchy, and strengthened my skills in InDesign, which is something that will definiely prove useful considering my future career path.
